Investigation Catalyst helps investigators identify, document, organize, link, test and present data they need to produce comprehensive explanatory descriptions of processes like accidents, fires, exposions, spills, and other disruptive occurences. It then helps investigators find Risk Raisers before or during such processes, and report them in a way that individuals engaged in similar activities can find, assess and act on the information to reduce risks in their activities, and achieve better outcomes in the future.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The source code for Investigation Catalyst was designated Open Source code and posted at http://code.google.com/p/meslib/ . Further development of the code will be dependent on contributions from anyone interested in using or enhancing the Investigation Catalyst software under a GNU Lesser GPL license.
