Common Commands

Commands for using INVESTIGATION CATALYST, common to most functions, include:

Keyboard commands

Standard Mac keyboard commands and mouse functions are used in this application.
Select object on Matrix

Click on object or its border: border gets blue shadow
De-select object on Matrix

Click on any unoccupied area of the Matrix; blue shadow disappears.
Right-click Right click on right mouse button to begin action; Control+left click does same.

Control-click

Control+click = right click on two-button mouse with INVESTIGATION CATALYST

Edit text

Position the cursor over the text, double click on text to select it, and either press Delete key to remove it all, or select text to edit and begin typing.

Undo Select Edit>Undo to undo last action. If undo is grayed after an object is selected, undo is not available for that object.

Delete object Select object or text to delete, and press delete key or click on Delete icon in Tool Bar. (Not implemented for all functions)

Listen to text

Double click on desired text in a text box to select text. Right click on selected text to open Task Panel. From Task Panel, select Speech to hear selected text read aloud.
